    Brewing On A Weak Stove

    It takes me about 5 hours for an all grain batch ( 90 minute boil and 75 minute mash 6 gallon). Including cleanup, so 6 hours is not too far off base, oh and I use a blichmann burner so I have plenty of power.

    6-7 hours isn't too bad, you could split the boil into 2 pots... Or use a dryer outlet, or maybe use the stove outlet if you want to move the stove to brew.

    As one who started with a Carboy cap, please do yourself a favor and use a tri-clover, it is so much easier to get on and off.

    Pour it, let it warm up and if haze is gone, then it's chill haze. Easy peasy.

    Also know that many European brewers have grains malted to their specs that we cannot get a hold of.... However I agree with the others let it ride and maybe adjust future batches if needed.

    It was a shock, she was only 35, and honestly had I not my current wife I would have married her, kind of f$&$ with your head to think what might have been and maybe her life would have been different if only..... Thanks for having a drink to her.
