    Treehouse Brewing Julius Clone

What temp post-flameout for the whirlpool hops? Does it make a difference if it is one large charge (e.g., 5 ounces) vs. two smaller (e.g., 2.5 ounces each)?

I appreciate the pro-brewers that take the time to help us out. It means a lot to me. Has Trillium shared their water profile?

Conan Stopped @ 1.018 on High Gravity Beer

This really pushed attenuation, >80%. Checking my brewing notes, I also did not aerate this wort prior to the yeast pitch. My O2 bottle is empty. Despite the lack of forced O2, the yeast did a great job!

    PH Meter Recommendations?

I brew only a few times a year and occasionally ferment a batch of peppers for hot sauce - I need something that will see 4-5 uses a year.

    PH Meter Recommendations?

Looking for feedback/recommendations on a reliable digit PH meter. I would like to stay under $50 if possible. TIA.

Yes it did. I have a 3 year old quad kegged that has plenty left in it - too sweet. If I recall, somewhere around 1.024. Too stubborn to dump it, it lingers on, takes-up space, and ages in my kegorator. This dropping a bit means it is less sweet :)

    Treehouse Brewing Julius Clone

The goal for me was an inexpensive bittering addition. The can, with shipping, was less than $26. I will have enough for the next 30 batches :)

    Treehouse Brewing Julius Clone

I bought a can about that size from YCH and got about 30 10ml syringes of hoppy bitterness.

Making Norther Brewers "Off the Topper" Juicy?

I have brewed Norther Brewers "Off the Topper" Heady Topper clone a few times now and have one kit left in the freezer. This clone has never been 'juicy' to me but a solid hop forward beer. A great brew, but with all of the NEIPA talking happening now, I would like to tweak the recipe to change...

Conan Stopped @ 1.018 on High Gravity Beer

I applied a heat belt yesterday, took it from 67F to 72F in a few hours. I noticed more airlock activity (off-gassing) later in the day. I'll leave it like this for a few days and take another reading. Recipe Specifications -------------------------- Boil Size: 6.99 gal Post Boil Volume: 6.24...

Conan Stopped @ 1.018 on High Gravity Beer

Yeah, I am leaning towards 'it won't do anything' but it won't hurt to warm it up a bit and let it finish for another week.

Conan Stopped @ 1.018 on High Gravity Beer

I brewed an imperial porter (1.093) two weeks ago, pitched a healthy 3L starter of Conan, and now it is resting at 1.018. It fermented at 68F. At 1.018, it is still a bit sweet for my taste. I was thinking about applying heat and bringing the carboy up to 72-75F in hopes to get a point or...
