    Towers on Keezers

The reason i did it this way was because i did not want to drill through my lid. (i may use it later for a freezer, but only after i upgrade to a bigger Keezer) I also did not like having to bend over everytime i wanted to pour a beer like with the collar way of doing it. I like AnOldUr's...

    Will this heatsink work?

Just to show you my layout here it is. I am leaving room for 2 more pids in the future and maybe a volt or amp display in the top center. The fan cools the ssr and the heat will come out a vent on the right side where the slits are.

    Will this heatsink work?

Ok ordered everything and started putting it together. The fan + heat sink + ssr are able to fit under the panel cover but the ssr will either rest on the bottom of the container or it will barely be off the bottom. Do you think this will work or should I mount the fan on top of the board?

    Towers on Keezers

You could make a collar like the side mounts and then put a lift able top on it. That's what I did and could not be happier. I put plexiglass on the tap side and handles on the other. I also put spray on foam on the bottoms to keep the cold air from escaping. If you want more pictures let...

    Will this heatsink work?

I have an old processor heatsink/fan that would fit perfect into my build and i was wondering if anyone has tried this out. I would swap the fan out with an AC fan because it is a DC right now. I would be cooling a auberin 40 amp ssr. thanks, Andy

    Starting an electric brewery

So i convinced the OWMBO to let me spend some of the tax return on "whatever" I want. I was looking around and found a control panel design that i like although i have a few concerns with it. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f170/one-more-brew-controller-254514/ I already have a very similarly...

    Starting an electric brewery

Well the Spa Panel is cheaper then the breaker. Atleast this is what i have seen. The "step" part is not what type of mash its like a step in the building process. Also i would have a 240 watt 30 volt switch near the outlet that is then connected to the spa panel. that way i won't be...

    Starting an electric brewery

So as the title says i am starting an electric brewery.:mug: This being said in an ideal world I would just splurge and buy everything i need. But this being reality i can only afford ordering part by part until i complete this wonderful endeavor. To start off ill fill you in on what...

Simple eHERMS, following PJ's diagram w/ only 1 PID.

Sorry to bring this post back to life but I was thinking of building something along like this. For now I only want to have the hlt on the pid with the option of expanding in the future. I would be starting from a 4 prong dryer outlet for the power. Looks like I will need a spa 30a breaker...
