I tapped this over the weekend on my new nitro tap. This beer is fantastic. It has nice hints of coffee and chocolate flavors. I highly recommend this beer!

I brewed this about a month ago and haven't gotten around to kegging, but had a few of these at a bar on a business trip and compared to the samples it is pretty much spot on. Can't wait to hook this up to my new nitro set up. Great Recipe!

i have one from hd - it holds 4 ball locks without the collar

i bought the version from HD and it will hold 4 ball locks on the floor tightly.

thanks i agree need to perfect this - i went to prague this summer and went to the factory in pilzen where we had a glass out of the old lager barrels. The beer was awesome. I raised the temp to 50 - hopefully that will work. thanks for the input.

Good Evening All, So i spent all day on saturday brewing a pilsner urquell clone - even did a triple decoction. This is my first lager. I started the starter on tuesday with 1 liter on a stir plate, let it ferment, then added two more liters. After that, the star blew all over the place...

thanks - i'm not sure about the abv. what i can tell you is that it tasted very different than the bottles here, much fresher.

thanks Big Ed - not sure exactly how to do that? I'm assuming i can buy this at my lhbs? Do i add it to the mash? If so, do i need to add it to the entire water volume? Thanks

Thanks Slotish - i'm going to try to "build" the water using the formula's in brewsmith to create it from distilled water. Still haven't figured that part out yet...will have to search the boards

All, I'm going to Prague in about a month and was wondering if anyone has any advice for brewery tours, either in or outside of the city. Obviously Pilzen is an option, but I'm sure there are better less heard of places to visit. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
