    it would help to see the RIMS system you are aiming to use. I believe it is usually suggested to put the temp sensor close to the RIMS tube, output side. Im not familiar with that particular brand of pid so I couldnt comment on specifics. From what i've read, the easiest sensors to use are the...

    Used a recipe from Brewers Friend site. I did cold crash the batch, with gelatin. Thanks again. Tastes great, think I'll cut back a little and brew that again. It may be a mainstay on tap lol...

    Hey peeps. only 2nd brew day on my new rig. Using Beersmith2. Did a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Clone... had no clue what my efficiency would be. followed the recipe as it was. Recipe called for roughly 75% efficiency. Beersmith is sayin im closer to 85% as this batch came out around 7% abv. Decent...
