Do you have a way to check or confirm conversion?

    Doughing in at near boiling

If you have any base malt around(6 row would be best for this) toss in a couple lbs fter you have cooled back to your mash temp.

    Dump or Keg

Only your palate answer this. If it tastes good, it tastes good. What is commonly referred to as an 'infection' simply means 'microbes other than those intended' have grown in the wort. Many brewers add these intentionally and some allow them to find their way in naturally. I have had batches of...

    Dump or Keg

So, what's to lose from kegging it? Do you enjoy wild/sour beers? It may turn out to be fantastic.

Anyone use this 12v cooler as a glycol chiller?

Yes, likely the same peltier. With the brewjacket, or even the morebeer peltier cooled conicals, the peltier device is in contact with wort or the conical itself. So, the peltier is directly cooling the product, where in this case the peltier cools air, which in turn would cool glycol solution...

Anyone use this 12v cooler as a glycol chiller?

I agree with @day_trippr cooling capacity is going to be very minimal here, these coolers are made to keep cold items cold and not to cool items that aren't cold already. The peltier device is in the lid and the 'cooled' air is blown over the product. Your cooling ability here would be limited...

Yes. That's what I'm talking about!!! So, is that the 3"sight glass in the photo? I can't wait to see this thing in action.

    Tri clamp INSIDE fermenter

I can't really tell the scale from the pic to define the size of this conical(looks like 7 gallons?), but given the relatively small size of conicals for home brewing(even .5bbl), why bother with CIP. In fact, isn't this why the entire top comes off the conical? Take the clamps off and clean...

***NEW PRODUCT*** The Yeast Brink from Nor Cal Brewing Solutions

I love this idea and while I do use mason jars for yeast storage, canned wort, and such, I just wouldn't feel comfortable with the jar for this. Maybe the band is the weak link and I wont be picking glass shrapnel out of my skin, but I would be crying while I'm cleaning up all my spilled beer.:(...

    Exposure to O2.

I've gotten good results with 70-90 grams. If you have a spunding valve, you can't really mess it up with too much sugar. Just set the spunding valve to desired carb level. If you don't use enough sugar you can increase carb level with force carb. You will have to seal the keg with pressure first.

Kegmenter Fermentation Keg - 7.6 gal

I don't use a 7.6 kegmenter but a kegco .5bbl brite tank. It's basically a 15.5 gallon corny keg. It was great for fermenting but has the same potential issues as a corny keg, such as poppets clogging in transfer. However the 4 inch port is nice when it comes to cleaning. Now I have a conical...

    Store Wort for yeast starter

When I have had this happen I just reprocess the jar. Make sure the lid seal and the mouth of the jar are clean and that the jar is not over filled.

    Store Wort for yeast starter

This is interesting, I hadn't thought of this. I would like to know if this is in fact so. I have been canning the wort as a time saver, but if it is in fact less nutritious for my yeast, I won't be canning it anymore. I think this calls for side by side starters, one canned and one not.

    Store Wort for yeast starter

Absolutely! Freezing does not kill clostridium spores. I pressure can wort for starters also. I find they come out with a reddish tint, but brilliantly clear aside from the massive trub deposit, which I would guess is a hot break. I use all grain biab to prepare the wort, 1 or so gallons at a...

    200gal limit

I get very close to the limit, but of course, I never go over it;). With ten or twelve gallon batches and frequent back to back brew days, one can easily approach or go over that maximum. I'm curious if the feds have ever busted a home brewer for brewing more than the limit, and if so, how do...

Firestone Challenger VI liquid post - 5/8" MPT?

Also, corny keg studs are neither npt or bsp. They are more similar to unf type thread. Sanke coupler thread is 5/8 bspp(the second p refers to parallel) which is not compatible with 7/8 npt(tapered). I second parting it out for the spares and utilizing it as a fermenting vessel.
