    Dual pressure co2 regulators

+3 I have the dual pressure Taprite and it's never done me wrong. Cheers.

    From sunglasses to E-biab

This is so cool man. Completely original and ingenious. You should be proud. I'll look forward to future updates and I hope the rest of the build goes well for you. Cheers and enjoy the brew.

Please help me build a heat stick/over the side heater.

Yeah man, go with the HotRod from Brewhardware. I have two and love them. They're extremely well built and high quality and priced very reasonably. Cheers and enjoy the brew.

2-tier Small Footprint Wood Brew Stand for Induction Brewing

Howdy. I'm certainly not a no-sparge expert, but I've been using it for my last handful of batches, plus a few here and there over the last couple of years. I brew a lot of low-gravity beers (low 1.040's) and with those small grain bills I've only noticed a drop of about 2 or 3% in mash...

2-tier Small Footprint Wood Brew Stand for Induction Brewing

I really dig your stand. If you think of it/have time, post an update after you've taken 'er out for a test drive. Also, do you do no-sparge or do you have a separate vessel somewhere that you're sparging with? I boil with electric and have been doing a lot of no-sparge lately, so this has...

The New Brew Shed aka The Lady Cave

This is awesome. Looking forward to see how things progress. I built a shed about a year ago and, while it's not solely for brewing, it was designed with my brewery in mind. It really is nice to have the dedicated space. Enjoy the build, it's part of the fun. Cheers

Cloudy pale ale in the keg...

This would obviously only be relevant on future brews, but I didn't see a mention of what yeast you used. This can also affect clarity. I use WLP007 for most of my ales and, after a cold crash in the fermenter and a few days in the keg, the beers really start clear up quickly. Much faster than...

    What is your neighborhood brewery?

NoDa Brewing is closest - just a few miles from the house. Their beer is fantastic. Old Mecklenburg and Triple C are just a couple miles further than that. There's a bunch more within 10 miles of the house, but those three are the ones I hit most often. Works out pretty well. Cheers.

    Forum Newbie Looking to Simplify

You'd be surprised man. Especially when using yeasts with a lot of character, 100% base malt can make some really nice beers. I really would recommend trying it... if you can resist the urge to throw other things in on a batch or two. In general though, I try to approach my recipes with a 'less...

    Forum Newbie Looking to Simplify

If I were really looking to simplify and learn the ropes of brewing a style like Saison, I'd start with a SMaSH recipe. 100% Base Malt of your choice (Pilsner is the most likely culprit in this case) Hop of your choice Yeast of your choice Spend some time drinking the beer and taking some...

The woes of a 120v brewer

Indeed, I can totally see a controller being unnecessary if you're reasonable about the wattage to boil volume ratio. I just thought my simple little controller would be a fun little project, and it was. Cheers.

The woes of a 120v brewer

+1 to this. I run 2 x 2000W and they work great for my 7.25gal pre-boil volume (5 gallon batches). I open them up full blast to get to a boil and then dial them back to about 85% to maintain. This gives me a good & consistent rolling boil. I'd also highly recommend the 2000W stainless...

    Keezer build (reclaimed look)

Wow man. Nice job. That looks fantastic. Best integration of shelving I've seen on a keezer, and the re-claimed style is really cool. You should be proud. Have fun finishing it up and enjoy the brews. Cheers.

    Looking For Lager Yeast Recomendations

I've used WLP838 quite a bit with great results. It's fast, clean, malty and clears really well. I've used it for light, medium and dark colored lagers. Makes an awesome Helles. Cheers.

Does anyone start to heat up their first runnings while they are batch sparging?

Does anyone else call their first runnings the Cool Runnings mon?

    Early Morning Brews

Not quite as early as I would've liked, but I just mashed in for a Mild. The coffee is good and Walter, my brew dog, is hangin' out for the sunrise. Not too shabby. Cheers.

Oops, I just realized you're going to Denver from Philly, not the other way around. It's early. Have fun in Denver - it's a great town. Cheers.

    House-Shed-Garage+Spare Bedroom+Murphy Bed=Brewery!!!

Nice work on everything benbradford. That chair is particularly awesome and I love the slats on the keggles. Looks like a great place to hang out and brew. Also - do I see some "Wheel of Time" in hardcover on the bookshelves? That's good stuff. Cheers and enjoy the brew.
