I just gambled and added it in. 1 ounce of leaf Amarillo. Will be tasting with carbonation on Saturday but so far tastes great. Lots of grapefruit in my batch. Will report back with pics and notes.

I already dry hopped it with 2 ounces of each. I'm talking about adding an ounce to the keg as I serve it for a little extra punch.

Any thoughts on adding an ounce of amarillo to the keg? Will that throw off the hop profile at all or just boost the tropical hop flavor a bit. First time kegging a homebrew tomorrow morning. THanks!

The way I've seen it done is use the hinges that come with the freezer on the lower hinges (attached to freezer and collar) and then use some sort of hinge from a hardware store for the lid to attach to the collar.

Do you mean 6-10 inch length? 2x6, 2x8, and 2x10 are fairly common in all hardware stores. I made my keezer out of 2x8 pine on the inside and a 1x10 oak on the outside.

The normal 2x wood in any hardware store (Home Depot, lowes) is pine. They call white fur or something else but it's pine. Just make sure it's untreated so you can sand and paint it yourself.

Super easy. Buy epoxy spray paint for appliances at the hardware store. 2 cans will cost you like $7-$8. Just need to get some sand paper and sand it a little bit before applying. Also be careful not to over apply each coat so you don't get runs.

Here my keezer. It's a white 7.1 Cubic foot that I painted black. Added a fan that i wired to an extension cord. I built it so it's NOT permanently attached to the chest freezer AND there are no leaks whatsoever. Siked to get some beers flowing.

Do a 2 stage starter. 3.5 L is a lot of liquid and not recommended. If you do 2 stage and decant after the first you should be good around a liter or so.

Turns out I can't even make the miter cuts on the 1x10 oak because the blade isn't that wide....so I guess I'll have to make regular joints. In that case I should be fine as I'm bolting this to the inner collar.
