Seems like the Nelson would clash with the malts? I like the idea of using Nugget/Simcoe but how does the Nelson play with the malt bill? Could this be considered a Imperial Red IPA?Definitely sounds interesting.

I know late to the party but US05 is a winner in this recipe. One of the best IPA recipes i have brewed.

Brewing this for the second time but changing my mash temp. Going to try and do a 20min protein test at 131deg then mash at 149 for 60mins just to see how this changes the beer. I did the 158mash for one hour and came out great on the first batch.

Seems like my gauge is a little off, beer comes out very fast of picnic tap. Could pouring too fast causing half glass of foam knock out some of the carbonation? 9-11psi on my set up would yield under carbonated beer on any of my 5 kegs.
