Just waisting for the soil to heat up

Questions, answer as you wish.... 1. Do you brew with them fresh or dried? 2. How are they weighed out if fresh....oz. for oz.? 3. If dried, oz. for oz. whole, ground? I normally use pellets. 3. Food dehydrator ok for drying? I may be putting the cart before the horse but oh well it won't...

Actually I meant just waiting for the soil to heat up. Tried to upload a pic of my hops rhizomes in starter pots but doesn't look like it uploaded.

    Little lucky or concerned....

Brewed an APA today. OG came out exactly as calculated to the hundredth. This kind of luck don't come around to often. I may have actually sparged just right.... who knows....Either way I'm gonna take it!

    Generally speaking....

Is DME the same as it's whole grain counterpart? Can it be used the same way? I understand that it's not steeped, but otherwise, is it relatively the same, just in a powder form?

    Making my first Gluten free

For no other reason than I like the different flavor of the one's I've had. I intend on sticking to the Gluten free and will not be using any grain. I am using sorghum extract and local Amish molasses so far. I have heard of a few other things used through reading....but what have/do you...

    Good morning brewers.....

Ok, to break away to something fun and easy...... A friend pitched a name to me for a new beer....at least I've not heard of it. He said it's in commemoration to a friend of his that has an "herbal liking" and tends to live out of their vehicle. The name you ask....... shall be "Stoned...
