In my own experience,this type of filter didn't work at all,I was cool crushing the beer for a week,then filtered it through 1 micron ,and no difference at all,the only filter that works for me is the plate filter folks used for wine ,sometimes it is called the Ferrari wine plate filter.

The plate filter I use to use it was 2 round plastic plates that you tighten together with 5 screw,not sure the name but very basic.

1micron,and I try both synthetic and the one that looks like hunch of threads,with 2 different beers

Done 3 roller monster mill requested as Christmas gift! Yeah it is few months away but what the hell,i can survive.

Did you have any astringency issues? Lots of ppl say that this mill shreds the husk too much.
