By leaving it four weeks rather than two is that to develop more flavor?

I was told to ferment for two weeks but it seems a lot of u guys go for four weeks is that better? And if u plan to do a secondary do u do two and two to split it up ?

I plan to dry Hop so should I transfer now to the secondary for a week or two it's been in the primary for two weeks now? And also just so I'm a clear a "stuck fermentation" is when it hasn't reached it potential right?

I'm still new to this so sorry if this is a stupid question. My hydrometer reading hasn't changed in a week. My OG 1.056 and in five days I checked it and It was at 1.008 and it's stayed the same now at week 2 . Is this good or bad? Am I fine because it did pretty much reach it's potential %

So if I was gonna use 2 oz of a pellet hop I just use 2 oz of a leaf hop then right? That's what I thought but 2 oz of the leaf hops looks like so much more but yeah it still only ways 2 oz

I just received my order of leaf hops and it's my first time using them. I want to dry hop so my question is , is 2 oz of leaf hops equal to 2 oz of pellet hops? The package of leaf hops look like theres more than in a package of pellet hops

Well mine didn't taste like the reviews it tasted burnt and horrible and not much aroma , maybe I got a bad batch ir something , either way doesn't seem like any of them really liked it

I just cracked this beer "ale of the imp" from Hermitage brewery , horrible taste like they burnt the grains or someone put out there cigarette in it
