So yeah my fermentation was done in like 3 days!

Yeah I'm gonna take another gravity reading this week and see. I didn't smell or taste any off flavors yet at this point. I tried the hydrometer sample tasted good actually. Here is another ? I have a mini fridge that I am testing as a fermenter now. With the tstat at its lowest setting liquid...

So yeah my fermentation was done in like 3 days!

Yeah I let it sit for a couple of days after the airlock stopped bubbling but the gravity is right so I'm moving on to the next step. I tasted the beer too, from the hydrometer sample I took. Not to bad. No off flavors that I could taste. 👍

So yeah my fermentation was done in like 3 days!

Like the title says. I made my first batch in years, and I was a little shocked when my airlock stopped bubbling after 3 days. I know that is not the end all be all of fermentation being over. I waited till last night to take a gravity reading and it was right on what it is supposed to be for the...

Such thing as too long of beer lines?

I think that stratification was the issue. I took my tower cooler out of my old kegerator and put it in my keezer and the issue had pretty much left. Co2 was getting out in the lines pretty bad on one keg. This seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for all if the info.

Such thing as too long of beer lines?

Well I recalculated the lengths at 10psi and they came to 8.5 ft. So having 9 ft lines apparently isn't the issue.

Such thing as too long of beer lines?

Using the same 9' length @ 10psi. It does happen with first pours but that is to be expected with the tap being a little warmer than the beer. But seems like all the time. Happening with the two kegs that are in there. I'm using domestic sankey 1/6 barrels. So since posting I dropped...

Such thing as too long of beer lines?

Ok I'm having a similar issue I just built my keezer, I've had a one tap mini fridge conversion for a couple years. In that I had 9' of 3/16" ID at 10psi. No issues there. But I seem to be having foaming issues with the keezer. I'm using basic chrome taps and the temp is 40* give or take 2*...

    Keezer builds and circulation fans.

I just finished my keezer build and I had a recirc set up for my tower kegerator that this replaced, so I took that and installed it temp for the time being. Seems to be doing the job.

Hey just wanted to finally say hello I have been all over this forum the last two years. Lots if great info and builds. In fact so much inspiration came from here that I just finished building my 3 tap keezer to replace my mini fridge conversion. I used to do home brews with my step dad when I...

    Keg line balancing issue

Use this http://www.mikesoltys.com/2012/09/17/determining-proper-hose-length-for-your-kegerator/ This is great. I used it ( commercial kegs) and it worked perfect. I'm sure it would work for home brew as well This is the carb chart as well http://www.kegerators.com/carbonation-table.php I...

Igloo Kegerator at Walmart - $369

I don't have this model. I building out a mini fridge, and it only holds one 1/6 keg but that is great for me. But I was getting foam big time with the 6' line that came on my tower. I checked out a few sites and got a formula that told me that I needed a 40" line so it tied it and it was almost...

Mrsoltys I was just coming to post a link to your spreadsheet for others. I too am a first time kegerator owner. I tried other formulas that I found but nothing compares to actual science! I used your spreadsheet and now I have perfect pours every time. Thanks!!!
