    More flavorful wheats

The big one that comes to mind is Bell's Oberon. that beer is awesome, and I can't seem to find a clone for it either.

    More flavorful wheats

Wheats are good and good to share with friends. I understand they're not DIPA'S or anything, but they've got to have more to offer than what I've gotten out of the previous two. Maybe I will just keep the grain bills and hops and spice them up. I like how dry they are, it's a good, "****...

    More flavorful wheats

So I've made two wheat now. And they were both kind of bland. My other beers come out great, but my wheat beers just seem pretty boring. I've had wheats that were good (commercial) are their key ingredients that you guys put into your wheats or do I need to accept the style more for what it is?

    Weak boil

Sure enough I took it apart and there was rust and other crud down there. Put it back together and fired it up and there was a nice blue flame. Thanks for the pointers guys.

    Weak boil

Wilser, that's exactly what I have . Academy sports special. $40 dollar burner. Pot and burner are my next two upgrades now that my kegging operation is pretty much complete. I'll clean that thing out in the next couple hours and test it and report back.

    Weak boil

I'll play with it and see if I can get a stronger flame and check for obstructions

    Weak boil

I've been using the same pot and burner for a couple years now. The last 2 or 3 batches I've done I haven't gotten a strong boil even though I'm cranking the gas wide open. The aluminum pot I'm using is a bit warped on the bottom and I'm getting a ton of carbon build up on the burner and the...

    Whitsun clone? American Citrus wheat

There is an orange wheat on here that was half 2 row half wheat and like 2 ounces oranges peel at 5 mins. I'll do a side by side with Oberon and see if it's anything close. I also added an ounce of cascade at 20 mins in addition to the 60 min addition.

Would 15 gallons be excessive for 5 gallon batches? And do keggle take more time/gas to hest up than a lay other pot would?

    Navarre / Ft Walton beach

Does anyone have a brew kettle they're looking to sell? I'm looking for something more suited for brewing. The 32 quart turkey fryer i'm using just takes forever and doesn't get a hard enough boil (I think) because it's so slim and tall. Looking for something in the 40-44 quart range...

    Fermentation Chamber Q's

Just another testimonial, I frequently pull mine out of the chamber after fermentation slows down so I have room for another batch. My chamber only fits one.
