Georgia Entire Homebrewery for Sale - Everything Must Go (GA - Local Pick Up Only)

What's your zip code? I'm in pensacola and it may not be too bad of a drive, or anyone else subscribed here. What city does it say? App doesn't show location.

Anyone have a kettle with a ball valve to sell? Or know anyone? I'm getting tired of dumping the wort into the fermenter and would rather just use a ball valve to transfer. 10g would be ideal, not really worried about a thermometer.

    Anyone use New Belgium bottles?

I like their shape and have several of them. Never noticed any unusual cracking over several uses.

    Hybrid American/Belgian Wit

The forbidden fruit strain was pretty interesting and may work well with cascade and spices for sure.

    Math for total mash volume?

So you're trying to figure out the total volume of your grain bill plus the mash water needed? I've always used green bay rackers can I mash it calculator, but you mentioned being familiar with the calculators so this might be something out of my knowledge level. Edit, I'm not one of the...

    Strange yeast starter

Yeah, I usually fill up the pint jars and store them full. I made a mistake both times when converting from ml to oz, whoops. Guess I'm not qualified to do that in my head, though at least I'm consistently wrong. The second step, the one with the dark stuff, grew and krausen ed just fine with...

    Starter Question

I've had pretty good luck waiting to pitch. I frequently have to chill over night in my ferm chamber since ground water here is like 80 in the summer. I would personally still brew and just pitch tomorrow after its all crashed out.

    Strange yeast starter

So I've been doing the method of yeast starters where you make a huge starter, split it (to save half for your next starter) and then do another run with the other half for your current batch. This is nice because you don't have to worry about washing or pitching slurry calculators and what...

    Kegs

No more scratched or beat up than other used kegs I've bought. I would imagine the listing is accurate about the ones you're looking at. Both of the ones I've bought from them are in use right now, but you get the picture

    Kegs

I've purchased their class 3 5 gallon kegs and they work fine. They had one handle cut but one usable. They held pressure fine. I'll snap a quick pic.

    Abita's wrought iron ipa? Thoughts?

How close to pensacola are you? If you're this direction of the border our selection is getting pretty good. Not like big city areas, but getting much better.

    Abita's wrought iron ipa? Thoughts?

Wow, well, IPA'S are hoppy. Not sure about that one in particular but keep an open mind. It could be very bitter or very florally, cutrusy.. I fell in love with craft beer all over again when I had my first ipa, still remember what and where I had i, enjoy :)
