    I fermented 3 weeks. I usually always wait 3 weeks and let the yeast do the job. So no activity any more on the airlock and fermenting at 19 degrees. I dont test often while in process of fermentation. It's only when i tranfered the beer that i test it with a refractometer that i realized it...

    Aerate before or after pitching yeast?

    I as well aerate before pitching the yeast. You dont have to aerate if you are using dry yeast thow.

    Well me i did a DIY variable outlet, i added a dimmer to the outlet for the simple reason that i find is loud but i have a valve at the output as well. 😅 I think that there is no problem to control the output with a valve but at the end Do what makes you happy 😎

    I did a honest mistake and carbonated 19L of beer by calculating by mistake 19G of beer!!! Ya, an honest mistake lol. I kept my beer in my basement at 13 degrees Celsius and every day slightly bending the caps and releasing some pressure. After few weeks the over-carbonation was managed.

    I am not sure a store will be willing to cut for you many types of wires but if you know how to turn off the general breaker and have an extra inch on your wires i would cut 1 inch of a wire and bring it to the hardware store.....

    Did I kill my yeast?

    If you have a temperature controler i would lower the temperature 2-max 3 degrees Celsius per day..... Try to not lower the temperature in 1 day if possible

    BrewnWKopperKat thank you, its a short and sweet answer but i will definitely try to have a complete knowledge about water and test my water. And i think i will get a digital ph reader so at least i will be avle to monitor and control 1 parameter 😁

    I brew a weissbeer 2 weeks a go. BIAB on a gas stove. I never have any depisit. I have a false bottom and recirculate the worth with a pump. I am no physic expert but could it be that by heating with an electric element it create less water mouvement because heat spread in many directions...
