Bottling Soda from a Corny Keg

From what I have heard/seen, the beer bottles should easily handle the ~35psi. There are plenty of sodas on the market in beer type bottles. Really, I belive that bottle bombs are really only a concern when making CO2 with yeast. Remember, when the yeast creates the co2, its in the headspace...

Bottling Soda from a Corny Keg

I have filled bottles from the tap using a method similar to Bobby M's. It works well, however I have not tested any of them long term. Im sure they would be fine as gifts.

I have had success with waterslide decal paper. I used it on pint glasses too, but they only held up for a few washes on them. No bubbles.

    5 1 gallon jugs (carboys)

The only problem I see with the bottles is, with all of the bmc drinkers (unfortunate souls) you would probably get a majority of twist offs.

    5 1 gallon jugs (carboys)

For those in need, stop by your local steakhouse/bar/resturant. My gf works at a Longhorn steakhouse. They use a LOT of Franks red hot for wing sauce. In the past 2 weeks I have happily aquired 4-1gal jugs! Im sure if you ask nice, they will toss you a few.

    5 1 gallon jugs (carboys)

Its been done a few times for experiments/ flavoring. I had a batch I pulled off 1 gal and added oak and coffee. Works good post-primary fermentation, but can be done at any time. The yeast is the hard part, thats why I say post-ferm.
