I bought a 1.5-12 volt adjustable power supply with interchangable plug ends from Frys electronics. I put a female end on the fan cable and it works pretty well. Ill post a picture later

With your setup you used a 24v fan, where as most computer fans are 12v. The PWM you listed in your earlier post only goes from 12v to 40v. So my question is you have to use a 24v fan other wise you wont be able to drop the voltage low enough, so it would spin slow with a 12v fan? Is there a...

I would love to have a stir plate that could reduce the fermentation time for a mead like that. You are planning on stirring the mead during fermentation, for the full length, or just first week or 2? I had a brochet that just didn't want to ferment. Stirring might have helped.

So for most of the really pretty looking brew stand builds I see that have keggles or bigger vessels and are CIP most people use SS tube with nice radius bends. Barginfittings.com lists 1/2" SS tube as 75 cents PER inch. I know that it is probably cheaper than that. Which is $180 per 20 feet...
