Thanks Guys... I hope you are all right. I am just concerned because it is water I used and it is quite "old water" now. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I think I will probably bottle it tomorrow.

My 3 piece airlock may have malfunctioned. I noticed it needed to be topped off a little this morning, so when I went to fill it back up to the line I realized the floating part was stuck to the part that goes thru the lid. I pressed down on the lid to see if this would release it, but it did...

I am still very new to this but I did leave my first batch in the primary for exactly 4 weeks. I then bottled and let sit to condition for another 3 weeks. I was VERY happy with the results. I hope my next batch turns out as well as the first.

My initial thought was to say toss it out...but if it is just the glass and no harmful chemicals or anything like that, then a filter at the end of the racking cane should be fine.
