I thought is was always beter to use Phosphoric Acid than Lactic.
As this is what commercial Breweries do (as Lactic adds a sour component)

No that sounds close to what a NB employee said what customers are doing
Epson Salt for MG and Baking Soda for RA (Alk) and Gypsum were normal to RODI per that discussions, just not amounts

Stopped by the local NBrewer and picked up a foot of the thermoplastic for attaching the strainer to the ball valve. Was told that or hard piping are the best methods.
Was advised by a brewer there that any grain flow around the mesh strainer was due more to pouring the first running back too...

Have both at my desk, thermo is a good 3 times stiffer than vinyl
from the hand squeeze test I just conducted
With my "Mafia hands" I can close the vinyl when I squeeze very hard, the thermo I cannot get it to close at the point it hurts to compress any harder
Not the best lab analysis...
