    Longer shelf life and less gunk in bottle. Yeast help prevent oxidization in the bottle.

    I'd say pitch it, more chance getting an infection in your wort sitting there, yeast has probably doubled already in starter.

    Tape it to the outside, not worth the chance of infection.
