    3 Gallon Batch= How Much Yeast?

    I am planning on doing a 3 gallon batch of cider and would like to use WLP775 ENGLISH CIDER YEAST. Am I ok using the whole vial in a 3 gallon batch? It should be a very high gravity cider. Thanks!

    I have each growing in my yard and the tree that they were growing on was cut down this week, and I wound up with a big mixed mess of these two varieties. I am thinking of doing a small batch, session IPA with them. Not sure how they will go together. Any thoughts?

    Thanks Chicky....After some thought, here is what I am thinking: -I put the 5lbs of grain in a grain sock (mistake)...grain was too tight, probably a ton of sugar stuck in there. -I put grain bag in strainer over kettle, and poured wort over the grain (duh)...so now, what sugar I did...

    First PM Failed OG
