    Bag type?

That's not even broken in yet, lol. Got over 40 with mine, still going strong.

Wilserbrewer bags, you wont be disappointed.

    Smaller batch in big kettle?

I'm thinking about doing some 2.5 gallon brews instead of my standard 5 gallon. These would be to try new styles, that I might not want a full keg of, and do attempt a couple big brews, like a RIS and a Belgian Quad. Would there be any reason not to do the boil for these smaller batches in my...

    S-04 stalling?

How do you figure this? What's special about dry yeast that they don't need oxygen? Sure you don't mean re-hydrate?

Brew the same or something different?

I like to try new brews, but now after about 50, I'm starting to come up with a list of repeat brews. Going to have my regulars, but still try something new every now and then. You'll know that your process is solid if you can brew the same beer multiple times and have it come out the same...

Spend $99 on a Cereal Killer and problem solved.

    numbers on OG off

How do you brew? If doing the traditional 3 vessel method, you have to watch you don't go too fine and get a stuck sparge. If doing BIAB, set those rollers as tight as they can go and crush fine.

    IPA Recipe - Chinook/Cascade/CTZ - How's this look?

I'd use CTZ at 60 min for your bittering addition, and do the first chinook at 15 or 10 min with the cascade.

Can I use my keezer I made for a fermentation chamber?

What are you going to do with your beer that's in the keezer? Ideal situation is to have another freezer to ferment in. Just remember, anytime you are using a freezer above freezing temps, you should have something to absorb the moisture that will form inside.

    Actual temp inside keg?

Ok, so use a glass not from the freezer. Frosted mugs are terrible for beer.

How Many Gallons of Homebrew in 2018?

Is this mill even worth my time?

Buy a Cereal Killer for $99 and be done.

Best brew kettle for the $?

Spike brewing. Yes, they cost a little more, but you get what you pay for.

Am I the only one that uses epsom salt (MgSO4) in my water profile?

I add a small amount of epsom salt to my water for IPAs.

    Ink bird ITC-308 stupid question

For my keezer I have the probe in a gallon jug of water. Changing the probe every time you move kegs gets old, and you have to keep it near the bottom. For the fermentation chamber though, taping the probe to the side, or a thermowell is what you want. When fermenting, you want to control the...

Barley Grinder Crusher Malt from Amazon

That doesn't look like my Cereal Killer. Where did you buy from? I have mine on the tightest setting, and have crushed hundreds of pounds of grain, no issues.

Risk of Bottle Bomb FG 1.016?

You'll be fine. I've had lots of beers finish higher than the predicted FG, never one bottle bomb. Over 2 weeks at that temp with US-05, it's done. As long as it's under 1.020 you're good.

Which base malt do you think is best for general brewing?

Why lock yourself into 55 lbs of a base malt that you are unsure of just to save a few dollars? Buy smaller amounts of what's appropriate for the recipe that you are brewing. Then you could try different base malts and figure out which ones you like.

Stay with BIAB... Or move on to "Regular" all grain brewing?

I've done BIAB since I've moved up from my first few one gallon brews. I have no intention of changing, even after 40+ brews. There is too much equipment in my basement now, last thing I need is more.

    Where to Buy Gear?

This is a good beginner setup. https://www.morebeer.com/products/premium-home-brewing-kit.html Just remember you get what you pay for. Anything cheap isn't going to be very good.
