well ill be there on the 8th and 9th. ive never been before so i dont know the area. let me know a couple days before if you can make it and ill bring one of my kegs along.
brewed a variation of this last night. i had to sub biscuit for the amber malt.
also had to use nugget for bittering and centennial in place of the amarillo. stupid lhbs:mad:
started to drink this the past week. it taste great, but it foams like crazy from the tap. i didnt change anything about my setup and all my other beers have poured fine. i can live with it for now. good recipe!
whoa whoa, dont dump just yet,all my beers have a hint of cideryness to them at first. give it a week or two and it might be mostly gone. four weeks and it should be perfect.
i saw them at ozzfest a couple years ago and they actually announced that they were only playing songs off the last four albums, like that would make us all happy. it still kicked ass but not as much as it could.
i had a similar problem, my first beers where good but lacked flavor. turns out my thermometer was reading wrong. i was mashing at around 145-148 degrees.
