Ever have a credit card number stolen???

I recently had fraudulent charges on my discover card for $3k from the Apple store. My most previous charge before that was from Northern Brewer. Sorry if this has been covered already, but it will take me awhile to get through this massive thread.

How to get better 101??? Yeast?

From one new brewer to another definitely check out all of the great info on this site. The biggest thing that I think has affected my brews has been the length of time I leave my beer in the primary. I've been letting most brews go 3-4 weeks which gives the yeast plenty of time to do their thing.

    Any Suggestions on next batch???

Check out Northern Brewer's Chinook IPA. I brewed this as my third batch and my first step into dry hopping. It has a great hoppy aroma and finish. This is definitely a kit that I will brew again.

    No hot break

Thanks for the info. I thought the hot break was just referring to getting the wort boiling again after adding the extract. I need to keep on reading "How to Brew."

    Cobbler's New Labels

Thanks! Yeah, I was worried about the beer being in clear bottles. I gave a number of bottles as gifts, so I was definitely fearing someone opening up a skunked bottle. I bottled my second batch in a mishmash of growlers, clear liter bottles and some few 12oz brown bottles. I was thinking of...

Yeah, I have been into to see Mike at Artisan a few times. I agree he is a great guy. Do either of you ever go to the Buzz meetings at Iron Hill in West Chester? I'm on their email list but I have yet to make it to a meeting. They seems like a good group of guys who really know their stuff...
