    nitrogen carbon dioxide mix

Yeah I carb for 5 days before switching to nitrogen...the only thing I am thinking the problem might be is that I am using a CO2 regulator with a converter to plug in to nitrogen tank..maybe the problem is that the co2 regulator is not using all the preasure as a nitrogent regulator would

I was looking at the label on the tank and it says (compressed gas NOS 2.2 - nitrogen, carbon dioxide. no airlock

I just made a yeast started and just realized i didnt have an airlock for it so i am using tin foil. Is this ok for a yeast started? I have never used tin foil for a yeast started but my LHB shop is closed for the weekend and i have no choice now.

Hmmm is funny you mention WLP001. My next recipe calls for WLP001 for a stout beer. I hope it comes out good.

What is the best way to get rid of yeast taste

I dont really have much control of my temps, I have a big closet where i ferment my beers and depending the time of the year it can be anywhere from 55 to 65 degress. i try to brew lagers in the winter and Ales in the spring or fall.
