    First Recipe - IPA critique

    I would mash @ 149 for a big IPA /need to dry hop/ I would do 3 oz chinook 60 min and 3 oz cascade for 2 min and dry with at least with 1 oz cascade and 1 oz chinook(i like to dry hop so i would use 4 oz total) I'm a hop head

    i never dry mine. Just run boiling water through then sanitize before I use it. Yeah I clean everything before and after I use anything I make beer with. Guess I'm a little paranoid.

    I made a batch a couple weeks ago with very little air lock action. Turned out that I didn't have it air tight.(in a stainless conical) Still made a tasty brew.

    I know how u feel. I got a keg of the funk sitting in my kitchen for the last 6 months but I just haven't been able to dump it yet. I need to.(or make my cheep ass friends that NEVER bring any beer over, but want to drink my good stuff, drink a glass for tax for the good stuff!!)

    yet another chill haze question

    My beer is cloudy for the first couple weeks after kegging, but after 3-4 weeks its always clear(even heavily dry hoped ipa's) I don't use anything but time. I'm lazy.

    I'd use Chinook for the 60 min and Cascade for the dry.
