    BIAB mash recirculation through whirlpool

I do it, it seems to do a good job of keeping most of the grain in suspension. I'm using a 25 gallon kettle with false bottom.

    Kölsch Bee Cave Brewery Kölsch

Congratulations on getting back to brewing. Anyways, you will end up with beer. I did this recipe again for the 100th time. I change it all the time. I dropped it down to a og of 1.043, it's cold crashing right now, and will keg in the next day or two. I'll let you know how it turns out, but I'm...

    French press style hop/trub strainer?

Wouldn't it be easier to whirlpool and siphon from the edge ? Turning your kettle into a giant french press would be cool though.

Almost done, still need to buy a pump and chiller. And some sort of paint. Brewed on it once next to my 3V setup so I could use my pump and counter flow chiller.

    A hop harvest vacation

I live not far from the Yakima Valley, and have seen thousands of hop bines. My cousins house in Moxee is surrounded by them. Nothing to exciting. In September hop union has their hop and brew school, that would be worthwhile to do. Otherwise just check out the breweries in the Seattle area.

Chugger vs March / center inlet vs inline

Reliability, I've had to replace the impeller on 2 of them and one of them needs the shaft that the impeller rides on. Also, I feel that the march had more flow.
