    I actually just used the same yeast today for my cider without a started and it's gurgling away very nice already. I had read on several sites that people hadn't been using a starter with this yeast with good results so hopefully it works for me and you also.

    Thats funny because i live off Skyline myself,you spelled Lani Kai the right way but it's a bit different these days. They have redone it and its a bit more upscale now but still gets the same kind of customers,mostly drunk 20 something year olds,lol.
