All grain canned wort, so far so good!

The time is front loaded to the the day you make and can the wort. On starter buildup day, after sanitizing everything, simply dump yeast and wort- done. Certainly not a time saver overall, but I for one am typically making starters during the middle of the week when things are hectic, getting...

All grain canned wort, so far so good!

I get it now, and yeah that makes a ton of sense. Why not utilize the leftovers if you can! This sounds perfect! now that’s taking it to the next level! Next on my agenda: convince my wife that she wants to do things like “make jam or whatever”. Unless she starts buying the gallon size...

And in goes the pineapple! Been forever since I made this, and and don’t know why because it’s a great brew. These days a 8%+ beverage is just what the doctor ordered!!

All grain canned wort, so far so good!

Yep, ph of 4.0 or less is the rule of thumb when you can get by with a hot water bath. Any higher needs to be canned under pressure to get that temp up. Mine looked pretty gnarly (perhaps not to the extent of the ones you have pictured), but mine all settled within a day or so. I was able to...

All grain canned wort, so far so good!

I’m not sure I’m following your new process. Are you still make all grain starters, but freezing them instead of pressure canning? Also are you referring to throwing away the hot break solids as the waste?

All grain canned wort, so far so good!

Lol, yeah I gotcha. To bad there’s not many people on this forum willing to make something themselves at excessive time and expense since they can just open a pre made bag, bottle, or can. :D

All grain canned wort, so far so good!

Made up a small batch, and canned it a while back. Finally got around to using some to step up a 1056, and WOW, I’m in love! Compared to my typical DME starters, this was a breeze! Since I did a partial boil and canned under 15psi, I felt good about using it straight from the jar after a...

Can I drill through the top of a back bar fridge?

I believe on his model the evaporator coil and fans are in the center of the unit between the two doors. Yours is on the left side. If you look at this picture (From the link you provided) one grill is a return air, the other is a supply where the cold air comes out, the coil will be between them.

Can I drill through the top of a back bar fridge?

Well I’m glad you pulled the trigger and signed up. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for that cooler. Front loads like that make a lot of sense. If they didn’t come at such a premium I’m sure they would be the prominent build platform. Top load freezers work fine but are a...

Can I drill through the top of a back bar fridge?

It sucks the way you came by all the free time I’m sure, but I’m glad to see it was used well! I’m in commercial HVACR and my wife’s a nurse. My projects are destined to have to wait......

Can I drill through the top of a back bar fridge?

I would agree. From those pics in the link, it appears the compressor and both coils (therefore all the refrigerant lines) are located on the far left side of the cabinet. @danclark714 , welcome to the forum! @verboten , that’s a hell of a rig!

    Stupid Joke Thread!

What's the difference between a dirty bus stop and a lobster with breast implants? One is a crusty bus station and the other is a busty crustacean.
