    Ok after you said 1/2 I thought of my saltwater tank and sure enough I had 1 1/2 tube I there that after heated up barely fit it's blowing away already. Man I should of thought of a blow off before now but always had enough head space.

    Ok so not even 10 hrs into fermenting and I got what you see below. It's my Irish red ale a gallon and half head room and I have no tube that fits for a blow off.... Suggestions????

    I think your at the point were a blowoff isn't needed but is would for the next 24hrs or so to be safe.

    So I was able to convince the wife that since I now have a beer in the keg in the fridge that I need to brew another so I have a American wheat on the boil right now. :)

    Ty so I cranked the psi up to 30 and learned something important. Not to have a tap hooked up to the out side. It started pushing beer into the clear dispense line.
