    I would maybe consider steeping the strawberries in a hot water bath, adding some carbonate(baking soda), and then some lactose i think that would give some flavor. have you every noticed off flavors of soaking the strawberries in a cleaning solution?

    i dont believe you would have to worry about the sterilization of spices, the beer contains alcohol at that point. If you were that worried about it you could just put the spices in a cup or two of water and heat it up then cool and add.

    I have had trouble finding accurate measuring spoons in table(1,1/2,1/4,and1/8), so i converted then into tsp. One and half of a tablespoon equals 1 + 1/2 tsp. One quarter of a table equals 1/2 + 1/4 tsp. one and eighth of a table equals 1/4 + 1/8 tsp.

    i have two dedicated beer fridges(one which is a tap/ageing), a kegging system, have read several brew books, and i have been brewing for 3 years now. I have not attempted all grain brewing i just dont have the money i want for the setup. I still consider myself a novice brewer.
