    Help with IPA water adjustments

    If this is your first time playing around with the water, I would go over 150ppm on the SO4. I find that when the SO4 gets over 150ppm, it really increases the bitterness to the point it becomes rather unpleasant but YMMV.

    also, keep in mind that extracts have minerals in them as well, so you could be doubling up in some areas which may becausing the excessive bitternesss.

    will this work for a manifold?

    my only concern might be the silicone tubing that you are using to connect the manifold to the bulkheard but other than that, looks pretty solid to me.

    Bottle early?

    why don't you just bottle half the batch and leave the rest to settle and age. You can also then compare to see if it was there is a difference between the two.
