This is my first time using my new keggle and I noticed the bottom of it getting red hot when I was trying to bring it to a boil. I turned the burner down but its still red. Is this normal?

I went from extract to all grain and really the only cost was my $60 mash tun. I have saved that already in the 4 batches I made since. Yeah you can go all crazy with stands and pumps but that is separate really. Kind of like choosing kegging over bottling. Yes it costs more but its easier so...

Well that is my main concern. Its just most paintball tanks mount horizontally on the guns so I wasn't sure if they were designed differently.

I am going to set up a cooler so I can take a keg with me up north but I have one question about using a paintball tank to serve. Should the tank be horizontal or vertical? I don't want to damage the regulator. It will be a little while before I build it but this has been bugging me.

I just finished cutting a hole in my keg and sanding it smooth. I can't wait to use this this weekend. Now I can finally start at the right level with no need to top off!

I have to keep my pipeline going after slacking for a few weeks so I'm brewing a cream ale on Saturday and an IPA on Sunday. Hopefully I will have my keggle ready by then.

The 20# for $40 is a great deal you would be set for a LONG time. Check out the last inspection date and call around to some places to make sure they will fill it or exchange it if its been too long since its last inspection. You don't need the regulator with 2 dials as the one showing co2 left...

If its a ball lock there is a pressure relief valve on the lid. Pull it. If its pin lock you need to use something blunt to push the poppit down.
