    Side by Side Kegerator

Max1, I'll post the replies here to both threads. You may have the answers already from reading the other thread. 1. I just used metal flashing from Home Depot to line the doors. 2. Everything is controlled automatically by the controllers. I just didn't want the fans or heater running if...

Hmm wtf is going on in this carboy

You didn't state the type of yeast you used. I'll take a guess at WLP002 English Ale Yeast. I've had mine look that way before.

Wiring help please, side-by-side fermentation/ kegerator

Yeah, I'm not sure about the wire size kgmac used since I never actually saw his build l. I can tell you on mine I did use the Ice Maker power wire for that very reason (a bigger wire) to power the heater and fans.

My first attempt at a label.

Hey Jzaiger, I would also like to try adding some Irish Cream Essence to a stout and just want to know how it turned out? How much did you add, I'm assuming a 5 gallon batch?

Love Controller TSS2: Using 2 Temp Probes

I have a Love TSS2 that is capable of using 2 temp probes, but I don't think it will work the way I want. I think the way it is supposed to work is that 1 probe switches relay 1 (cooling) and the other probe switches relay 2 (heating). What I would like to do is use either Probe 1 or Probe 2...

    Summerville area brew shops?

No brewing at the Beer Engineer, but they have a lot of Grains and Malts to choose from that you can weigh and crush yourself. Here is the link to the website: http://beerengineersupply.com/

Question on wiring/setup for 2-stage Inkbird in Collar

UT-Alex I gave you some bad poop. I apologize for my mistake. I was just looking at the colors of the wires you had going across those contacts and in my mind the grey was the neutral. And no electricity doesn't know colors, so there is nothing in the composition to make it hot or neutral. It...

Question on wiring/setup for 2-stage Inkbird in Collar

Yes it can. Just take all of the blue wires and put them on terminal 1 and and make them the Hot (120v) wires and then take all of the Red wires and make them the neutral. UT-Alex you still have your diagram wired wrong. You can't have the hot on terminals 5 & 7 and and the neutral on...

The Wiring to my EBIAB Element Fried - Help

Figure out what size wire you do have since 12 AWG is only good for 20 amps. If you have a 30 amp breaker you should be using 10 AWG.

Wiring help please, side-by-side fermentation/ kegerator

I think you are right DirtyBurd, and I do see how it could have happened with the way your original fridge controllers are wired to the same wires that run to the freezer door. I'm sorry you didn't see the schematic earlier. How much is a new controller? I didn't see your exact model number so I...

Wiring help please, side-by-side fermentation/ kegerator

@DirtyBurd Just a couple of questions. 1. So what you are saying, there is some sort of control board on the freezer door? 2. Do you plan on leaving it there? 3. How big is it? Maybe snap a pic of it. Since you already cut the wires from the control board on the back of the fridge, could you...

Wiring help please, side-by-side fermentation/ kegerator

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you guys with questions. I made an updated picture for @DirtyBurd showing the new relay wired into the schematic. It should help @truvr also. The conversation with Bluedog was over the continuous running of the fans when kgmac311 originally wired his fridge...
