I have just started making a brew using apple juice and sugar with some wine yeast and yeast nutrient as the OG was 1.088. Should I leave the airlock on right from the start, or should I leave the airlock off for a while to give the yeast some oxygen?
Turbo yeast was never meant for cider, beer, mead, wine etc. It was designed for something else which I don't want to mention in case the fun police read this.
It's because most people don't like a high quality ale, they prefer cheap nasty lagers from the big breweries which have a lot of money to spend on advertising to brainwash ignorant consumers about how good their (****) product is.
I've found some apple juice on special at a supermarket and on the ingredients list it says: reconstituted apple juice (100%), flavour, vitamin C.
Will that be suitable for making cider?
