We're already here! Although we will be spending part of this next week on the coast, we're in Portland for a couple of days first. Back into Portland on Wednesday and plan to be at Yoop's presentation.
Edit....
HB German pils, our first try. Lagering for a month or so, getting clear and tasty! First round was our Flat Tire Crone, best one we ever made. Magic of water chemistry, plus Nottingham. And a new awning! Too breezy to leave deployed........
The gulf seafood folks (Fabian) were in La Crosse today, so we bought a couple more pounds of shrimp and some crab.
Pricey, but sooo good. Jacques Pepin recipe crab cakes, much crab. Little filler. Tomorrow Crab Louis for lunch. Bells two hearted while cooking. Orvieto white for dinner. Cider...

?
I didn't go through the whole thing so not sure if it's what you need....
We'll be flying in early, sightseeing, and flying back right after. Prolly not going to get any growlers to bring home, so we'll have to drink it all there! We even picked up t shirts from several Iowa breweries to wear! And one from Wisconsin....:cask:
Sooo as HBC Virgins, Shall We Assume that we can collide with enough HBT folks at Yoops presentation to maybe make some plans for meetin' up once or twice at some of the zillions of places in this town?
Most Awesome Beer Bottles, if you are near Wisconsin....
New Glarus. They have the nice standard bottles, and Water Soluble Labels. Float right off (which may not be real great if you're floating their bottles in a cooler of icy water....)
Our next brew after this we will do 10 gallons, maybe some Centennial and Amarillo in the boil. Then hop in each 5 gal fermenter with a couple of different hops. Maybe Sterling in one, Citra in the other. Still deciding here too! We finally got our water analyzed, so less guesswork on that...
Money may not grow on trees, but the hubby's pasta does. Paired with home made meatballs, and sauce that includes home canned tomato sauce, home grown garlic, onions, and at least some herbs. Not bad at all, not bad at all....
Mother's Day brew will be our Flat Tire Crone, this time we are going to Science! Finally got our water reports, so no more guessing. The FTC is a recipe that is supposed to be the "original" version of Fat Tire, much more tasty than today's version. It's a nice amber, looking forward to seeing...
+1 for Priceless here. I'm always within a point or two on my numbers, and a degree or two on my mash temp.
Edit Oh and volumes too! Just as important.
We'll be there. Both Yoop's and Martin's presentations are on my wanna go list. We didn't make last year's Twin Cities con, much closer to us, for family reasons. But we have an old friend in the Portland area and a nephew in Eugene. Gonna make it a nice 2+ weeks. Is there a secret HBT sign to give?
Interesting! Hadn't had a P-Sue in a while, but I don't recall it being that opaque and OJ looking the last time we had it at the old taproom. We'll be there tomorrow, we'll have to have one to see what's up :-)
Going to Homebrewcon, want a TG shirt to wear while we're there. Also a Pulpit...
