    I met a guy tonight that sold me 2 glass carboys (1 6gal an 1 5gal) plus 3 kegs (2 pin 1 ball) and a 10lb co2 canister for 50$. You guys think I got a good deal?

    I use Starsan to clean/sanitize my carboy. I did rack on some foam so that might be some of the bubbles. I was more concerned with the whitish creamy looking stuff. I am still a novice and this is only my second batch, I suppose I just need to relax and see what happens.

    First batch ever in my primary! I am excited.

    Just got a gravity reading from my first batch SG 1.045 FG 1.014 Had a taste and I am pretty happy with it. I am going to let it sit until the 19th then I bottle.

    Thanks for all the replies! I actually was out this evening buying another fermenter and ingredients. Second batch is in my 6 gal carboy!

    I think I was more concerned with oxidation than with sanitizing. But I will sanitize my thief and take a reading tonight and see where we are. Thanks!
