Do you have a hop water recipe you like? My attempts have all been lackluster.

Yeah, makes total sense. I do like to brew a lot of lager, specifically German Pils so for those I would stick with 5 gallons given the time invested in lagering, etc.

Yeah, they haven't made it here yet. The Thiol boosting strains were slow to get here. I do believe Escarpment is cooking up something, but haven't heard yet.

I'm brewing another one of these this weekend, I would love to try ALDC but holy crap. 1oz. is $40 here in Canada!

Bitburger is my favorite commercial German Pils. I've tried a few times to clone it but haven't gotten it, I believe they use a specific hop only grown by them.

Great news. I kind of knew already based on rumors, but I can attest that my last order from them was processed as one would expect with prompt communication, shipping and tracking.

Arise thread! I just want to chime in that this is quickly becoming one of my favorite "strains". I've brewed 5 beers with it, and everytime it's quick, reliable and has an amazing flavor profile. It's not TOO English that it's useable in American IPA, but is totally nice in English Styles...

I'm in a slump, last 3 beers have been terrible. Ive been brewing AG for 17 years and have won multiple awards, but I'm stumped. Decided to go back to basics and brew Ed Worst Pale Ale. Going to measure every step of the process to see what's going on.

Funny, I'm in the exact same boat. Been brewing for 17 years, and am in a slump where I have brewed 3 or 4 batches that have been really bad. I decided I need to get back to basics, and this was one of the first beers I brewed when I started in 2007.

Has anyone tried this Revolution Hop Blend? Blend of Nelson, Riwaka, Moteka and Pacific Sunrise. Was thinking of picking up a pound to try, might be really nice in a NZ Pils or Mixed Ferm Saison even?
