Just finished my manifold also. Made it out of cpvc and used a coleman 52qt extreme series rectangle cooler. heavily insulated for up to 5 days and has a good bottom for manifold to lay on. 35 for the cooler and 20 bucks for the manifold. Cant wait to try it out. Has anyone seen a sparge...

Brewed a Mac And Jack African amber clone yesterday. They call for Dry hopping the primary on week three of ferment. I have fresh whole hops. My question is can i drop them in whole or should I use a muslin bag. Is there a difference. Maybe someone else has tryed this clone? Thanks for the help

Im pretty sure I got the process figured out but Im unsure of one item. Im assuming the steeping grains need to be crushed or milled. Do they come that way, will the HBS do it or can You do it yourself without a mill? Is there a difference between millimg and crushing? Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info. I'll try one a week for the next three weeks to see the taste changes but plan for one month. Should it sit warm for that long or can it be refrigerated?
