    ANVIL FOUNDRY ALL-GRAIN BREWING SYSTEM

What size and type are the threads on the foundry spigot?

    BIAB vs all-in-one electric system

I've done electric recirculating ever since I stepped up from one gallon brews on the stovetop. I have no interest in trying anything else. That said, if your system works for you, there is probably not a lot of value in learning a new and different way to brew. Stick with what works for you...

Clear Beer Draft System - A very small question

I just took delivery on my second CBDS and realized that my first system lost the little silicone end cap that the second one has. This probably does not matter a whole lot, but it does mean that the optional filter doesn't do its' job anymore thanks to the uncovered tube end. It looks like a...

    ANVIL FOUNDRY ALL-GRAIN BREWING SYSTEM

My first brew from my 10.5 AF is carbing and I have some questions about changes prior to the next brew: 1) What size screw protectors should I look for? 2) Is there a way to adapt camlock fittings to the Anvil pump? Those smooth surfaces do not look inviting. 3) How much trouble is it to...

Walk me through keg spunding please

A couple more points: It is OK to transfer with more than 3 or 4 points left so long as you know how to set your spunding valve. I think it is better to spund too soon than too late. Make sure to adjust for temperature. I've not looked up the exact numbers, but if you want about 10psi at...

What happened to my spunding valve?

I may have this fixed, tho I am not sure of that. The valve completely refused to unscrew from the T, so I removed the gauge before disassembling the valve and soaking in Oxyclean. That cleared the clog, but reassembling everything left lotsa leaks. Testing now to see if that problem is...

What happened to my spunding valve?

I may buy another BlowTie, but Williams ships excruciatingly slowly, and my yeast waits for no man... Meanwhile, I just discovered my BlowTie has decided to compensate for the unwillingness of the other valve to do anything by slowly leaking the pressure out. It went from 25psi to under 10psi...

What happened to my spunding valve?

No changes. When I put my BlowTie valve on the same keg it promptly lowers the pressure to 25psi, as set. But I want to spund two kegs at once.

What happened to my spunding valve?

I have wound the valve up and down several times. Nothing changes. I released the QD plunger and took it to zero, but I've been through this part before. Will try again and see if I can get a different result.

What happened to my spunding valve?

It was zero before I put it on the keg. Keg pressure, as measured by other devices, has not changed.

What happened to my spunding valve?

My spunding valve worked just fine a month or two ago. Now, no matter how far I turn the adjustment knob in either direction, it will not release a single pound of pressure from a highly pressurized keg. What happened? My valve looks like the one on the "build your own" page at Homebrew Finds...

Help me make a Sippy Cup IPA

Not nearly as thick as a stout. Mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy, but it is not thick, if that makes sense.

    Make IPA Clear Again

I wanted to go back to the source and give credit to your inspiration for my Sippy Cup of Blood milkshake IPA. I like clear IPAs as much as the next guy, but this cloudy mess came out really well! Thank you!

Help me make a Sippy Cup IPA

Accuflex Ultra 235 vs Kegland EVA barrier

I finally have all of my pieces put together, but I surely wish I'd known about this option before I made about four false starts at getting all of this right on my simple system. I strongly suggest others consider the option Bobby offers.

Racking onto fruit puree - - How long?

My first milkshake IPA has finished fermenting. I plan to add a vanilla bean tincture and rack onto three pounds of blood orange puree. After I do this, how long should I wait before kegging?

    Pluto Beverage Gun Stainless

The black ABS version of the gun is quite a bit cheaper. I think Pluto guns are noticeably better than picnic taps, but that is a pretty low bar to top (or tap).
