    my first hard cider

    just finished brewing my first hard cider. Looks good hope its going to taste good. I used the mr beer caramel hard apple cider mix. I did make on small change in the brown sugar. The mix called for 2 cups light brown sugar. I used one and half cups light brown sugar and a half cup dark brown sugar.

    i was wondering if i could use half of the can of a 5 gallon extract to make a 2 gallon batch in my mr beer. Then take the other half of the extract and freez it for use later.

    when doing extract brewing and the recipie call for suger is it ok to add honey in the place of the sugar. And if the recipe calls for 1 cup sugar should i add 1 cup honey as an equal.
