I noticed my clarity improved when using more flocculent yeast strains. S-04 is a great yeast and produces a nice clear beer in a short amount of time.

First going all grain, then kegging instead of bottling. The beer just tastes so much cleaner from the keg.

Dry yeast is the nuts. Rehydrate as you chill your wort and then pitch it in.

The decision has been made...the Propagator package hasn't swolen at all. I told myself if the package was swolen I'd throw it in. I guess I'm pulling a starter.

Thanks. I'm definitely going to buy new tubing but I wanted to see what others are doing to prevent this from happening.

I keep my vinyl tubes rolled up and hanging on the wall in my "brewery" but I just noticed some mold and funk in the tubes. I always sanitize before using, but is there a good way to clean or store the tubes so they don't get moldy?

I don't know the facts of this thread, but its clear this is stupid.

Thanks XXGuy One day I'll figure out how to post the pics properly. Beer goes through the copper and water through the PVC. Works really well. I chill 5 gallons in about 10 minutes.
