I caught up on this thread and checked on a couple of fermenters. My stout that brewed last Saturday is ready to be kegged. And I finally got my Marzen brewed yesterday and got it in the fermenter chamber.

I dumped 4 gallons of used starsan solution into my boil kettle. I found that starsan does a great job of dissolving the build up on the heating element better than anything else that I have tried. It removes almost all of the build up and what doesn't simply fall off is very easy to brush away...

Welcome back @PintOfBitter. So I see you have been brewing now for about 18 years or so. Have you finally realized it's more of an addiction than a hobby? Glad you are still brewing.

I finished making my Ipa (pronounced E-pay) tap handles, got the hardware attached and installed them on the taps. I think the uniform size and design looks better than hodge podge collected handles plus they are uniform size and function great.

I'm glad you tried it. Now go the extra step and make them in a copper cup and coat the rim with lime. You will like them even better. Cheers ad hoppy brewing in 2025.

HB Pre prohibition lager, love these beers l need to brew them more often. Simple and inexpensive to make and a very refreshing beer to drink.
