Well, i couldn't imagine saying, "hey, you want a beer?" then pull out a soda bottle with beer in it. That's the only reason why i use glass. Otherwise, the commercial brewers who i ask advise from use soda bottles(with their homebrew), and i really think they would make things a lot better...

Man i should start making health hazard stickers, then get a scientist to convince congress to require them on everything. Seriously the people who make these things must be banking from this.

Try adding some hops at 30, 15 and at flameout.

I heard something about the larger the vessel the quicker it ages. Kind of like the old thing about kegged beer aging faster and differently than bottles.

I've done the bottling bucket thing several times. I walked away from a 1.200+(~20% abv) brew as the temp was rising from 200F. Needless to say when i returned with the hops i was getting the wort was covering the driveway and candied onto my turkey fryer and pot.

Well..... my LHBS is out and has been out of kegs for a while. I almost wanna bottle a couple of batches, but the big thing that got me kegging was bottle bombs.

5 WEEKS!???!!! My batches are usually completely gone 5 weeks after brewing. I just can't brew enough beer to satisfy the demand of everyone who drinks it.So it usually is being drank green.

So it seems that between me, my brother, the casual friends being over, and a growler as a gift now and then, I can't brew regularly enough. I have been trying some larger batches (10-15 gallons), but I only have 2 kegs and 2 taps on my fridge, so most of the time 1 of the taps is always down...

About a month or so ago a friend of mine had a Bell's Poolside, i had to send it back for him. It was nasty!!! I never thought i would have to send back anything by them, i was so disappointed. :(

If stouts are darker, then does that make an imperial porter a stout? (like flying dog's gonzo imperial porter?)
