I c02 transfer from my conical, through a two stage filter setup (5 micron-1 micron), and into a 1/2 barrel keg or 3 corny kegs inline. For some beers ill just use 5 micron and skip the 1 micron.

Well I decided to try an ss Brewtec 1/2bbl to get me going but I think I'm going to save for a couple jacketed Brewershardware ones with a glycol chiller, I'll keep the Brewtec for simple beers. It's a nice unit though, no complaints for the price. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

I like them too, they have lots of head space for 5 gal batches and you can see the wort and yeast do its magic, i got them from a local brew shop and the only place ive seen them online is from Hillbilly Stills, great guys there, I've dealt with them b4...

What I should do is buy a stand up freezer to but my half barrel conical into, that way after fermentation I can cold crash like you then transfer to kegs, then carb. I think it would be best to clear the beer before the gas goes on. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

After primary for a few weeks I will keg my beer then it goes in the kegerator to cold crash, is it better to add c02 right away it would it clear faster if I let it sit in the cold for about a week first then carb? I'm wondering if the c02 keeps everything in suspension longer, what do you all...

I am having problems with the triclover part breaking off the can, one broke so bobby sent me a couple new ones but I broke a second. Tried silver soldering one back together but that didn't go so well. I also have one cap that is stripped and won't hold on the can, I don't seem to have luck...
