    Length of beer lines

While that is the intuitive thought, that's not how gases actually work. If the barrier (vinyl, in this case) is gas-permeable, Oxygen will permeate it and internal gas (CO2) will diffuse out of it regardless of pressure differential from atmosphere to inside the tube. Gas molecules easily and...

    Length of beer lines

I run 4mm EVA Barrier lines onto 1/4" barbs on my Flow Control Ball Lock QD (it's a tough fit, but they will with work). 3 foot lines with 12 PSI @ 40 degrees, and it's a slow pour. Slow enough I may shorten to 2.5 feet. Let me say that again: 3 feet at 12 PSI. Boom.

Accuflex Ultra 235 vs Kegland EVA barrier

Yeah, I'm sold and find no reason to look to any other solution. This stuff (EVA Barrier) is the stuff!

Looking for the cause of a very low carbonation

Another possibility is a poor seal on the keg leaking under pressure. (I assume you kegged, since you mentioned spunding).

Weyermann Barke Pilsner - I made FIRE!

Amen! I'm honestly not sure why one would use anything other than German malt if trying to make German beer. I love lemons, but you don't use lemons to make key lime pie...

Weyermann Barke Pilsner - I made FIRE!

Will you guys stop letting the cat out of the bag?!?!? I don't want to have trouble getting the stuff because it's suddenly become the new malt equivalent of Galaxy hops! Fortunately I just picked up a sack each of Barke Pils, Vienna, and Munich the other day :-)

Accuflex Ultra 235 vs Kegland EVA barrier

I have both in my system, which is all based on 1/4" barbs (4mm for beer to keep the tubing runs short, and 5mm for gas, because it's easier to fit and I don't want/need the resistance on the gas side). Definitely easier to fit the 5mm on the 1/4", but 4mm is doable if you want the extra...

    Gas line recommendation

I fit it over a standard 1/4" barb with some hot (not boiling) water and a tapered nail set to stretch it. I was able to fit the 4mm tube over a 1/4" barb too, so I'm sure the 5mm will go over a 5/16 barb.
