As Doug has helped me 1000 times over. I built my whole unit in about a week or two with his help in design. Thanks again Doug for being such an active and contributing member. I recommend following his advice. Safety was important to me and he helped a lot with that.

You drill holes in the back, put bolts and nuts on the front side and another piece of metal to give you about 1/2" of space between the box and your electronics. You could mount a DIN rail and be off to the races.

Yeah fermentation temps are the most important. I only have mine half way down. I can heat in the winter but I can't cool in the summer. I have a fridge for a kegerator which I may use but I can only do one leg at a time that way.

I taste every step of the way. And when I open the fermenter sometimes I get hit with gas! Focus on science, not when it should be done. Take hydrometer readings. I go for 1.010. But I'm a big IPA brewer. Every FG will be different.

Ditch it all. You can make your own. Mad scientist is why we have such good beer today. Try things out, I tried wheat in my IPA got bad reviews so started to try with other grains. It's trial and error. No beer is a waste.
