    Should i worry about smell?

I'm not going to argue that, but it isn't pleasant to take a decent hit of it. It "burns" and could be concieved as an odor/taste in my opinion. Perhaps, solventy? Big whiff of CO2

    Only brett contaminates the wood?

I'm going to start a Flanders Red tomorrow, using the roselare blend and perhaps a geuze dreg or two (add them in secondary or in primary?). I'm going to go the oak dowel way (except my dowel is juniper). My question is about what stuff the dowel gets infested with, is it only brett or does...

    Should i worry about smell?

One thing popped into my mind, could it be "pure" CO2 u smelled? Since it faded overnight, perhaps it got diluted while/after you opened it. I remember pulling the lid off the bucket when bottling my first brew, I took a deep breath to smell the beer, nearly knocked me out. (I belive there is a...

    Brewing Green

Have a look at this("Nästa sida" for next page) for some inspiration, a whole lot of cans gives some rather hot air. Something similar could be built for water, then you can even drain it by gravity, altough sanitation might be an issue.

Haven't checked out Drop Dead for some reason, I've seen the name here and there so... Fun story (sort of) about HHIG, saw a record "Tragedy - S/t" on swedish ebay, which said it had former HHIG members in the band, so I took a shot and bought it without further investigation. Of course it...

    Does a Saison Age Well?

Take the general ABV of the saisons here and cut it in half and it's somewhat traditional :D Should be close to two years old by now, if you have any left that is. How was the recipe, some flavor hops or just yeast all the way? Any "special" changes due to the aging?
