Excessive Foam with Perlick Flow Control Faucets?

I did and didn’t notice anything or any issues with any of the gaskets. Before using it I recirculated blc through to clean it.

Excessive Foam with Perlick Flow Control Faucets?

I just installed an Intertap flow control only for it to pour extreme foam. I tried it with a very low carbonated stout and that also pours foam while the normal Intertap faucet pouring the stout is almost impossible to get any foam. Is it possible something inside the faucet is letting out a...

Heavy foaming from highly carbonated beers

When I brew Belgian beers and carbonate them highly, I can't get a good pour out of my keezer. I have the Intertap stainless faucets, have my keezer temp set at 35 degrees and about 9 feet of beer line. I have to set the PSI to about 20-22 PSI to get what I think is a proper carbonation. Am I...

Brew Bucket owners - What Mini Fridge are you using ?

I have a 3" TC with a 90 degree barb soldered onto it. So I just pull off the blow off tubing and attach tubing hooked up to a spare 5 lb CO2 tank that I have and apply very low pressure. Then I use that to push to the keg as well. Has worked great so far.

    NHC Competition Results

Yeah, I saw the date listed on the website for 4/27 but being in the Philly region the judging takes place this weekend. Just wanted to get a sense of whether I will be waiting three weeks for the results or if I can expect something sooner.

    NHC Competition Results

Entered two beers into NHC for the first time this year. Just wondering what the typical turn around time is to receive the scores and results? I entered in Philadelphia which is being judged this coming weekend. Are the results held until all the regions go through judging or released...

Wort chiller tube blew off, is this brew ruined?

I think you're probably alright. I had a similar situation happen to me and the beer turned out perfectly fine. How much water are you talking about?

    Saison Cottage House Saison

Just kegged my second go at a recipe based off of this one. Jacked up the fermentation temp to get more out of the yeast compared to the first batch. Pitched at 70 and put it up to 77 over the first four days and held there for 7. Has anyone noticed a tartness from 3711? Tastes nice but it...

20g Spike Kettle for 6g batches

Thanks all for the comments. I went with the 20g kettle. Spike had a custom kettle in their bargain bin so I was able to get a 20g kettle with 3 TC ports for less than the same 15g kettle would have cost. Two are at 2" and the whirlpool port will be at 4" which is at about 4.5 gallons.

    Ferm Wrap on SS BrewBucket?

I use an inkbird with a similar item as a ferm wrap inside a small mini fridge. Works great. I was worried that the ferm wrap wouldn't get a saison up to 77 but it did without any issue. Has worked great for me.

20g Spike Kettle for 6g batches

Thanks guys, I'm currently using a 15g Bayou classic right now so the 20g isn't that much bigger. I'm not worried about size from cleaning and I use a pump so it won't be moved around during the brew day. Just trying to make sure there isn't anything significant that I'm missing.

20g Spike Kettle for 6g batches

Are there any other things to consider for boiling purposes?

20g Spike Kettle for 6g batches

To clarify I don't BIAB. Use a cooler for a mash tun and have a separate cooler for a HLT. So three vessel one pump system. Propane fired boil kettle used to heat strike water and then subsequently heat the sparge water.
